Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Dealio Discord bot and its related features (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Bilgehan Boz ("Dealio", "we", "us", or "our"). By inviting, configuring, accessing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service description
Dealio monitors the public Steam wishlist identified by a user and may send that user a Discord direct message after an eligible sale transition or a configured target-price crossing is observed. Dealio is an informational alerting tool only. It does not sell games, process game purchases, guarantee discounts, or act as an agent of Valve, Steam, or Discord.
The first successful observation establishes a baseline. A game that is already on sale when first observed may not generate an alert. You select the country configured for your Steam Store account; Dealio does not infer or verify it from Discord, physical location, or Steam profile location. Steam price requests use that selected Store country, and Dealio displays Steam's returned currency without conversion. Changing the country establishes a new baseline and retires pending alerts from the previous region. Results may still differ from the price, currency, eligibility, or availability shown for your Steam account. Always verify an offer on the official Steam store page before purchasing.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by the laws that apply to you. You must also be permitted to use Discord and Steam under their respective terms. If you invite the bot to a Discord server, you represent that you have permission to do so. If you configure a Steam profile identifier, link, or vanity name, you represent that you are authorized to use that profile with the Service.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your Discord account, the information you submit, and your use of notifications. You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of applicable law or another person's rights;
- submit misleading identifiers or impersonate another person;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent the Service or its safeguards, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- use automation to abuse commands, rate limits, Discord, or Steam;
- introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data; or
- use the Service to send spam or facilitate fraudulent or harmful activity.
4. Third-party services
The Service depends on Discord and Valve services, including Steam, and uses IsThereAnyDeal for historical prices. Those services are independent third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Their APIs, data, availability, account decisions, regional pricing, and policies are outside our control. An outage, restriction, or change affecting a third-party service may limit or disable Dealio without notice.
Dealio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc., Valve Corporation or IsThereAnyDeal. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries. Game names, artwork and other third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Notifications and availability
Checks run approximately 30 minutes after the preceding scan completes, and shortly after Steam's daily price change at 10:00 Pacific time. A five-minute shared price cache may be used. Quiet hours and daily digests require a selected timezone. Delayed offers are revalidated before delivery; expired offers are withheld. “Delivered to Discord” does not imply that you read a message. Setting a rule on a currently matching price establishes a baseline without a new initial alert. Historical lows and recent price changes come from IsThereAnyDeal's Steam records in the same currency only; they are informational, may be missing or incomplete, and after a regional currency change cover only the period since that change.
By completing setup, you request sale alerts by Discord direct message. Delivery may fail or be delayed if direct messages are disabled, the bot is blocked, an account or server is unavailable, an upstream service fails, rate limits apply, or a technical error occurs. Because delivery uses retry mechanisms, a duplicate message may occasionally be sent when a previous delivery result is uncertain.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be continuous, secure, error-free, or available for every game, user, server, region, or sale. Maintenance may occur without notice.
6. Privacy and deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the Service processes and how the active application database can be deleted. Completing the protected /delete-data confirmation flow deletes records associated with your Discord user ID from Dealio's active SQLite database. It does not delete messages or records independently held by Discord, Valve, website hosts, infrastructure providers, or other third parties, and it does not itself target application logs or external backups.
7. Fees and future paid features
The Service is currently free. We may introduce optional paid features or plans in the future, but no charge will be imposed without presenting the applicable price and purchase terms in advance. Any payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be provided before purchase and will supplement these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may add, remove, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We may also update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. The revised Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Where a change materially affects users, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice when practical. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may remove the bot from a server and complete the protected /delete-data confirmation flow to delete your records from the active application database. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, respond to legal requirements, address abuse, or enforce these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that any particular sale will be detected or delivered as a notification. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bilgehan Boz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, missed discounts, or purchases made in reliance on the Service. This limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer-protection rules, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts and enforcement offices of Canakkale, Turkey.
13. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement concerning the current free Service, except for any additional terms expressly presented for a specific feature.
